Ladakh is one of the most beautiful region of Jammu and Kashmir due to its beautiful views which attract millions of tourist every year. Ladakh known as white desert is a land of mystery and intrigue which never ceases to amaze travellers with its towering peaks and snow-capped Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges, the rapidly-flowing Indus and Zanskar rivers and numerous streams carrying the glaciers from the mountains tucked amidst lush green valleys, all conjure a travellers dream. It is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Jammu and Kashmir and its culture and history are closely related to that of Tibet. Ladakh is renowned for its remote mountain beauty and culture. During winter the temperature here goes below zero degree celcious and some time its reaches minus 30 and minus 40 degree celcious therefore the best session to visit this place is during summers

Pangong Lake

Pangong lake is one of the beautiful reservoir of the clear cristal water situated in the mountains ranges of Ladakh. Its beauty is worth to watch. The scenic beauty with the tranquil and serene environment appears to be so unreal to the tourist The lake is about 134 km long.

Tso Moriri

The Tso Moriri lake is the fresh water lake surrounded with beautiful landscape and lush green vegetation. The region is remarkably different from other lake in the region due to its Natural beauty. There is also a hot spring on the trail to Tso Moriri.

Royal Leh Palace

The palace was built by King Sengge Namgyal in 16th century . The palace is beautiful archituctual monument which depicts the rich cultural of Ladakh. It has a museum which displays rare collections of ceremonial crowns, dresses, jewelleries, ornaments etc.

Zanskar valley

Its about 600 m above sea level and separates idus velley from the velley of Kashmir. The place has mainly Buddhists poputation. Zanskar valley surrounded by lofty mountains and deep gorges. It remain closed for about eight months in a year due to heavy snowfall in the region.

Magnetic Hill

Magnetic hill or gravity hill in Ladakh has curious natural phenomenon. The hill falls on the National Highway from Leh to Kargil to Baltik. The hill can pull any vehicle up its steep slope with the ignition of the vehicle off. A Gurudwara (Pathar Sahab) near the hill is also an added attraction here.

Nubra valley

Nubra valley is situated on the banks of river Nubra a tributary of the shyok river and flows in Ladakh region it originates from the siachen glacier. For reaching this place one has to travel through the highest motorable road in the world. There are many guest houses and small hotels at Diskit which is the main village of Nubra.

Shanti Stupa

Shanti stupa is one of the famous tourist attraction in Ladakh. The beautiful buddish temple consists of many sculptures of bhudda carved in walls. The sunrise and sunset are worth-seeing from this Stupa.

Kargil (Kashmir - Leh Highway)

It is the second largest town of Ladakh and lies on the Srinagar leh national highway. In ancient times most of the trade to the China used to take place from this town. The place consist of many beautiful and scenic beauties which attract tourism in large numbers.

Khardung La

Khaduunga la is the beautiful place to watch as the weather condition can change suddenly even during the summers. The temp goes below -400 C during winters due to heavy snow falls. The pass is about 40 Kms from Leh and to reach this place motorable road is available.

Lamayuru Monastry

The monastery ie one of the oldest monastery of the world and depicts the rich Tibetan Buddhist culture. Beautiful collections of paintings scriptures and the landscape around the monastery add charm to its beauty.

Alchi Monastry

Like other monastery in the Ladakh region this monastery consist of Many wall painting purported to be 11/12 centuries old. The monastery is located on the flat ground which makes it distinct from other monasteries. For tourist visiting this place monastery has built many guest houses so that they can stay easily and enjoy the beautiful climate and rich heritage.

Shey Monastry

The monastery is located on the banks of river Indus and served as the summer residence for the royal family. The monastery posssess statue of Buddha made up of copper and brass , besides this the monastery consist of many shrines and stupas whose beauty made everyone speech less.

Diskit Monastry

The Monastery has many statue's of Buddha. 106 ft tall statue of Maitreya Buddha and a 32 metre high statue of golden Buddha are the main attractions of the monastery. The secnic beauty around the monastery add beauty to it and make the place worth to watch.

Hemis Monastry

The Hemis monastery is considered to be the one of the richest and the largest monasteries in India. The monastery possess the collection of inctricately carved gold and silver stupas reflecting Tibetan style of architecture with colour full surrounding land scape .

Thiksey Monastry

Thiksey monastery possess rear and precious to stupas of ancient times. Maitreya Buddha statue is the prime attraction. The monastery has many stories were monks and people worship. Monastery is decorated with many beautiful paintings and the war fear items used in ancient times.
